Curriculum Vitae

Date of birth: 07/ 07/ 78.
Place of birth: Salisbury, England.

Education:
1st. Degree BA (Hons) Art & Visual Culture. 1999-2002. University of the West of England.
This course of study encourages the development of an independent studio practice and
promotes a critical awareness of contemporary art theory and other wider cultural issues

Work Experience:
Visiting Lecturer, Visual Culture/Fine Art Dept. The University of the West of England.
As well as giving individual tuition I have also played an integral role in the delivery of
professional practice modules and postgraduate visual culture programs. 2002-2005
Gallery technician, Spike Island, art gallery & studio complex. 2000-2005.
As a gallery technician I am also part of a regular discussion group tackling issues surrounding
Spike Island’s mediation strategy and property management.
Creative Partnerships, As a practising artist I have worked at both an infant school
and a primary school in the delivery of two artistic projects. May-July, 2003
Genesis Medical, Medical Pre-Installation Technician. Contracts included preparing M.R.I
and C.A.T scanner suites Bristol Royal Infirmary. 2002.
